As a Loan Consultant, you help create the energy and excitement through the mortgage process, providing the right solutions and making the overall process of homeownership simplified and personalized for our clients. You understand that New Wave Mortgage is dedicated to delivering a client experience that’s unlike any other. It starts with discovering the clients’ needs and financial goals. With your experience, and with the support of your team, you match those needs with the right loan option for their situation. ‍WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

‍We might be a great match if:
‍Working in a fun and energetic environment makes you excited! We work efficiently and as a team to take care of our clients. Providing a unique and hassle free mortgage process to our clients that makes them say 'THAT WAS EASY!' excites you. You aren’t looking for a Monday through Friday job where you're at a computer all day. We are busy all day (especially on the weekends!), making it easy for the client by working around their schedule. The great news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be an incredible Loan Consultant. In addition, we also provide quality leads and help you to develop a strong marketing brand for yourself through videos, social media, and other outlets to grow your book of business organically and from referrals.

‍But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:
- NMLS licensed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Hold yourself accountable
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis 
- Learn and adapt to new technology needs
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
